The first time she laughed at a Census joke, Sara knew she had found her true calling as a researcher. In fact, the only thing she enjoys more than sifting through data to find the story is working with clients who use research strategically to inform their decision-making. Using methods and insights garnered from her deep and broad experience across industries, Sara brings a fresh perspective to her clients’ challenges.
With 30 years of experience in market research design, analysis and consulting, Sara is versed in the full suite of qualitative and quantitative methods. A recognized survey expert who regularly presents on research methods and findings at professional conferences and seminars, she also testifies as a survey expert in commercial litigation. Sara holds a PhD and MA in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her doctoral dissertation was funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation and was awarded UIC’s “Outstanding Dissertation” in 2002.
Sara balances her work life with nature and music, and enjoys hiking in the woods with her husband and their two Tibetan Terriers. Committed to preserving natural habitats, she has traveled extensively, including a recent safari in South Africa where she loved being up close and personal with elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions.
